For the past several years, millions of men in the western world have used their faces to bring awareness to and raise funds for men's health issues particularly prostate cancer. Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths. Besides annual check-ups, the Movember Foundation encourages men to be aware of family history of cancer, and to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

In solidarity, these men shave their faces on October 31st, and cease to shave for the ENTIRE month. Money is individually raised via pledges & contests channelling their inner hipster (or werewolf?),and there are some men whose creative and hirsute prowess knocks the competition flat on their ... hairy faces.

We applaud the men who do this, as well as the women who stand beside their furry lads. As we're nearly halfway through the month of Movember, below are some products to consider for during and after four weeks of whisker-growing!
